Terms of Service

Last updated: May 14, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or engaging American Drone Team / Drone Legal Support ("we," "us," or "our") for services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our services.

Services

We provide drone-based accident documentation, forensic investigation support, and mapping services. Specific scope, deliverables, fees, and timelines for each engagement are defined in a written quote, statement of work, or invoice. Those engagement documents control if they conflict with this page.

Use of the website

  • You will not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or access it through automated means without permission.
  • You will provide accurate information when submitting forms.
  • Submissions do not create an attorney–client, contractual, or fiduciary relationship; they are inquiries only.

Quotes and engagement

Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work begins only after written acceptance and, where required, a deposit. We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from any engagement.

Payment

Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice. Late balances may accrue reasonable interest and collection costs. You are responsible for any applicable taxes other than taxes on our net income.

Flight operations and safety

All flights are conducted by FAA Part 107 certified remote pilots and are subject to weather, airspace authorization, property access, and safety judgment. We may delay, relocate, or cancel a flight when conditions, regulations, or scene safety require it, without liability for the change.

Site access and permissions

You are responsible for ensuring we have lawful access to any site we are asked to document and for obtaining any third-party permissions necessary for the work. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from access or permissions you represented were in place.

Deliverables and intellectual property

Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the deliverables for the matter for which they were created, including litigation, mediation, and insurance proceedings. We retain ownership of the underlying raw data, workflows, and the right to use anonymized excerpts for portfolio, training, and marketing purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Confidentiality

We treat case materials as confidential and disclose them only to the engaging party or as required by law or court order. See our Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.

No legal advice

We are not a law firm. Nothing on this site or in our deliverables constitutes legal advice. Engagement of our services does not create an attorney–client relationship.

Disclaimers

The site and services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the site or any engagement will not exceed the fees you paid us for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of deliverables, or your representations about site access and permissions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in the Florida Panhandle.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
