Aerial view of a Florida intersection at night with headlights and signage visible

Environmental & Sightline

Aerial Visibility & Sightline Analysis You Can Defend.

Vegetation overgrowth, blocked signage, inadequate lighting, blind approaches — the conditions that decide premises liability and traffic cases aren't visible from the street, aren't in any inspection report, and change in a matter of weeks.

The Problem

What you're up against

Vegetation overgrowth, blocked signage, inadequate lighting, blind approaches — the conditions that decide premises liability and traffic cases aren't visible from the street, aren't in any inspection report, and change in a matter of weeks.

What's at Stake

The cost of waiting

By the time a case is filed, the tree has been trimmed, the signal has been retimed, the bulb has been replaced. The plaintiff's narrative goes unchallenged. Defense theories about visibility collapse without proof. HOA security audits stay reactive instead of preventive. The condition that caused the loss is gone, and so is your ability to argue about it.

How We Solve It

Our approach

We document real-world visibility from each relevant viewpoint — drivers, witnesses, residents — at the times of day and conditions that matter. Day-and-night comparison sets, annotated obstruction maps, signage and signal-timing references, all hashed at capture and ready for trial exhibits or expert review.

Frequently Asked

Environmental & Sightline Documentation — FAQ

Can you document sightlines after the scene has changed?

+

Often, yes. Roadway geometry, signage placement, signal timing, and structure positions remain stable. Where vegetation or temporary obstructions are at issue, we cross-reference police reports, prior imagery, and witness statements.

Do you do day-and-night comparison shoots?

+

Yes. We commonly pair a daylight flight with a return flight at the relevant time of day or night to produce side-by-side visibility exhibits. We hold the FAA night waiver required for legal night operations.

Will the sightline footage hold up as evidence?

+

Yes. Originals are hashed at capture, preserved unedited, and accompanied by a flight log, GPS metadata, pilot Part 107 certification, and a signed affidavit. Pilot is available for deposition or trial.

How do you decide which viewpoints to capture?

+

We start from the parties and witnesses identified in the matter and document each relevant approach. We can add additional perspectives as the case develops.

What does a sightline study cost?

+

Pricing depends on site complexity, number of perspectives, and whether day/night pairs are required. We quote in writing before launch.
